WILLIAMSTOWN – Williamstown High School has announced homecoming activities and its homecoming yard.

The high school will celebrate the homecoming with a parade at 1:30 p.m. on October 7 followed by a pep rally.

The comeback queen and king will be crowned on Oct. 7 during the game’s halftime ceremonies against Weir High School.

The crown bearer is Cohen McCray, son of Zac and Jobie Mcray. The flowergirls are Syndey MacIver, daughter of Sasha MacIver and Cody and Michelle MacIver, and Ellie Hall, daughter of Zach and Holly Hall.

The 2022 reunion court members are Andrew Florence, Kent Wigal, Rickie Allen, TJ Billingsley, Emily Bailey, Brianna Winesett, Kamryn Haynes and Amariah Sprouse.

Allen is the son of Rick and Nikki Allen. His grandparents are Danny Sharp, Maryilyn Sharp and Rick Allen and Leslie Allen. Allen plays college football and runs track. He is a member of the National Honor Society and is a senior class representative on student council.

He plans to accept an offer to play football and will study pre-med or engineering at university.

Sprouse is the daughter of Tim and Angel Sprouse. His grandparents are Connie and Richard Sprouse and Gilbert and Marchealla Shepard. She plays volleyball and basketball for college girls. She is a member of the Jackettes. She plans to go to college to study pre-medical care, especially neonatal care.

Billingsley is the son of Tom and Teresa Billingsley and Angela Mula. The grandparents are Ronda Meyer and the late John Meyer and Tom and Diane Burrows. Billingsley plays college football and track and field. He also works at Qdoba in Marietta. Her future plans include going to college to study environmental science.

Haynes is the daughter of Shawn Haynes and Melissa Frye. His grandparents are Sandy Haynes and the late Michael R. Haynes, Bernard Elwin Seevers Jr. and Judy McLeish. Haynes plays varsity girls’ volleyball and softball. She is a member of the Williamstown High School Strings, the National Honor Society, and is senior class president. Among other things, she plans to go to Muskingum University to play volleyball and study economics.

Florence is the son of Doug and Andrea Florence. His grandparents are Rodney and Sue Burton, Marsha Florence and Debbie Florence. He is a member of the varsity baseball team and the National Honor Society. He plans to attend West Virginia University to study biology for a dental degree.

Bailey is the daughter of Teressa Bailey. His grandparents are Larry and Barb Lee and Kathy Grimes. She is a member of the National Honor Society and participated in the Stars Club. She plans to attend West Virginia University to study psychology.

Wigal is the son of Brian and Tracy Wigal. His grandparents are David and Linda Wilcoxen and Paul and Myrna Wigal. Kent plays college football and basketball. He is a member of the National Honor Society and plans to attend West Virginia University to study sports management.

Winsett is the daughter of Craig and Belinda Winsett. His grandparents are Gerald and Lavonne Winsett and Luke and Mondalee Moberly. Winsett is a member of the varsity women’s cross country and track teams and the National Honor Society. Her future plans include going to college to major in biology to become a pediatric dentist or orthodontist.
