The guide contains a first look at the main exhibits coming to the Museum this summer, beginning in May with the opening of Sonic Sensation – an interactive exhibit allowing visitors of all ages to make noise while exploring the science of sound in our everyday world.

In June, the Museum will host Spirit Seeds: A Celebration of Indigenous Beadwork curated by renowned Indigenous artist Naomi Smith.
This exhibit will feature beautiful objects decorated with tiny glass beads, called “Little Spirits” in some First Nations languages. Additional programming of virtual workshops and a curator’s talk are planned to illuminate the stories behind these beaded objects and artifacts, as well as the evolution of the art form.

Kid-friendly programming will include PA Daytime Crafts and Movies, KidZone Summer Camp, and weekly offerings such as Wildlife Wednesdays and Lego Fridays.
