THE BEST CAMPGROUND IN WASHINGTON STATE IS ELKAMP EASTCREEK?

You’ll have to forgive me if I seem a little ignorant, but I haven’t heard of this place…but then again, we don’t camp much.

Campspot.com is the #1 marketplace in the United States for RV resorts, family campgrounds, cabins, glamping options, and more, according to their website.

They just gave their Top Campgrounds awards in the United States, and one of them is in Washington State. He came in at 7th place in the top 10.

WHERE IS ELKAMP EASTCREEK?

Formerly known as Eastcreek Campground, it is a short distance from Seattle and not far from the Nisqually Gate of Mount Rainier National Park, about 15 minutes away. It’s near Mineral, WA.

Park amenities include volleyball, horseshoes, showers, bathrooms, and garbage disposal.

Each site also includes a picnic table and fire rings. Popularity, location and amenities were among the most important factors in choosing the winners.

Only one other Northwest site made it to their awards list, in the Top Campgrounds with Views category, Oceanside RV Resort and Campground in Coos Bay, OR, came in at #3 on that list.
