Alexander Hamilton Package at Four Seasons Resort Nevis
Alexander Hamilton’s story may have started on the small island of Nevis, but the impact he had in American history has made him a household name. And this fall, Four Seasons Resort Nevis invites guests to take a walk through history as they discover the birthplace of one of America’s most remarkable Founding Fathers with the all-new Alexander Hamilton Package. Fans of the famous Hamilton musical might not realize that the Caribbean island the show is referring to is the Island of Nevis, but now they will have the opportunity to learn where it all began for this young historical leader.
“Nevis may be a small, unknown island on the edge of the Caribbean, but it’s filled with so much history,” says Yvette Thomas-Henri, regional vice-president and general manager. “Not much has changed with Charlestown since that time, so you can really feel the legacy of what it was once like when Hamilton lived on the island.”
With rates starting at $ 9,660 per night *, the Alexander Hamilton package includes a resort credit of $ 1,000 per person that can be used towards a wide variety of meals, activities and experiences. A private rum pairing dinner, movie night with dinner under the stars, a historic botanical tour with the Director of Customer Experience Mac Kee France, and an exclusive Hamilton-style portrait painting session that guests can take home are also part of this historic experience.
Not only will guests be able to experience a piece of Nevisian and American history with this package, but they will also be able to stay in a following inspired and named after Nevis’ most famous native son. In the newly redesigned One-Bedroom Suite, decor is bright, clean, and fresh, while preserving the humble charm of Nevis with hints of Caribbean notes from the botanical wallpaper in the bedroom to the uniquely designed chairs that feature the ambassador of the island, the green monkey vervet. Guests will find the 1,761-square-foot (164-square-meter) suite an inviting space ideal for entertaining – welcoming family and friends for an intimate dinner table for up to eight people or relaxing at the outside on the expansive patio for a nightcap while enjoying the Caribbean breeze and the gentle sounds of Nevis.
Guests who have spent the four-day “on-site vacation” period are also welcome to explore the island and visit the home of the former founding father. By booking an island tour with a historical storyteller, guests can visit Hamilton’s birthplace, located just 10 minutes from the resort in the heart of Charlestown. The two-story building overlooking Charlestown Harbor is called the Hamilton House. It houses one of the island’s two museums on the first floor. The second floor is the meeting room of the Nevis House of Assembly. The stone building was constructed around 1680 but was destroyed in an earthquake in 1840 and restored in 1983. The original Hamilton house is also located on the property after being restored due to the same earthquake. Earth.
In addition to sharing the story of Alexander Hamilton in the Caribbean, the package will donate to the Broadway Cares Foundation / Equity Fights AIDS, an organization that helps provide groceries, medicine and health care to people affected by HIV / AIDS, COVID-19 and other deadly diseases.
Far from the ‘forgotten places of the Caribbean’, travelers to Nevis can follow in the footsteps of the founding father of the United States, Alexander Hamilton, with a Spotify Playlist organized by BELLOSOUND for guests on the property to enjoy.
